With the upcoming presidential election, Anne-Claire Coudray will have busy months at TF1! In an interview, the journalist spoke behind the scenes of her prestigious position, at the head of the most watched news program in Europe.

For more than ten years, Anne-Claire Coudray has been part of the daily lives of millions of French people. At the head of TF1’s 8 p.m. television news every weekend, the 49-year-old journalist has managed to seduce public opinion thanks to her unfailing serenity.

Anne-Claire Coudray imposes a strict routine on herself: this “social self-control” that she set up

Free in her editorial choices and in her tone, Anne-Claire Coudray imposes absolute rigor on herself… Even outside the TF1 tower! “Off set, I don’t tell myself that there are things I can no longer do, that there are people who will see me act in real life”Amalia’s mother first reminded 7 Days TVassuming however “having put in place a little ‘social self-control.'”

“Even if I wasn’t completely unrestrained before and I didn’t allow myself to do anything and everything”she continued with humor. Unthinkable for her, for example, “give your opinion on social networks”this is his only daily constraint. “Because I embody the TF1 newspaper. If, for example, I start saying who I vote for, I will inevitably involve the channel. Same on sensitive subjects”she added.

Anne-Claire Coudray free at TF1: “Nothing is forbidden to me”

Asked about the rules imposed by the front page to ensure that she does not miss a news story, Anne-Claire Coudray demonstrated great sincerity: “I am not forbidden anything, not even from coming to the office on a scooter, nor from practicing dangerous or extreme sports. The proof: I parachuted for July 14!”

“At no time are we given instructions at TF1 on what we can or cannot do. The instructions are implicit: when you sign your contract and become a presenter, the limits are quite simple. These are those of basic republican behavior”certified the one who shares her life with her discreet companion, the entrepreneur Nicolas Vix.

Before concluding: “When you are a journalist, you are supposed to be interested in everything, without expressing an opinion. But that does not mean that we are beings without convictions”. This has the merit of being clear!
