“Fort Boyard” left an indelible memory for Jeanfi Janssens… The comedian was so traumatized that he is very afraid of participating in it again one day!
Jeanfi Jansens may never set foot in Fort Boyard. The 52-year-old comedian is somewhat traumatized by his experience which dates back to 2018… The member of Big Heads also took advantage of a new episode of the flagship RTL show to look back on his experience on the Fort.
Jeanfi Jansens victim of an accident at Fort Boyard: “You are cannon fodder for trials”
“There are a lot of injuries at Fort Boyard”he began, setting the tone. “I had a thumb and a tooth myself.”he then said, recalling that he had advised his comrade Sébastien Thoen not to participate in the program. And for good reason: “You are cannon fodder for trials”.
“I can tell you that I left a tooth there”he then said. Before remembering in detail: “You see the hamsters that are in spinning wheels? They put me like that as a hamster. I had a tank top, my hands were tied behind my back, I had a cardboard box here in front, and in the box there were foam balls. And I had to jump to make the foam balls jump”.
Jeanfi Jansens: Fort Boyard, is it over? “I replied that I was on tour”
“Already, you look like a fool.”he then added with a lot of self-mockery. And the former steward concluded: “I had to catch the balls with my mouth, then put them in a hole in the wall. I arrived, I ran into the wall (…) I put the ball in the hole and my tooth exploded”. Chambered by the presenter of Big HeadsLaurent Ruquier, and many of his comrades, Jeanfi Jansens did not fail to add a touch of humor: “But at home I remove my teeth”.
Already, a few years ago, the member had given some details about this accident: “There was a click, then I heard, ‘Oh damn, he’s bleeding!’ Part of my top tooth was broken, my lip was swollen. My face all distorted. So, I kept my mouth shut until the end of the sequence and they sent me to prison.”. An accident which inoculated Jeanfi Jansens who, since then, has always refused to remake the show: “I replied that I was on tour”.
