Denis Brogniart has traveled to the four corners of the globe, but it is in this discreet little corner of France that he is happiest. The TF1 host even bought a house there.
When he is not in the middle of a paradise island filming Koh LantaDenis Brogniart likes to recharge his batteries in this part of France that he loves above all. The 59-year-old entertainer has purchased a property in what he considers to be “the most beautiful corner of the Var coast“.
Denis Brogniart, his house in a village in the South where he “flees the world”
The presenter of Koh Lanta Although he is keen on adventures, he lives part of the year in a peaceful and remote place. “I like to escape the world“, he explained to Var-Matin. A few years ago, Denis Brogniart took up residence in Rayol-Canadel-sur-Mer, a town of less than 700 inhabitants, located between Marseille and Roquebrune-Cap-Martin. There, he can enjoy the tranquility of the fine sandy beaches, “village spirit” which reigns within the commune and the discretion which its property located in the heart of nature brings it.
The father of Dimitri (26 years old), born from a first marriage, of the twins Lili and Violette (21 years old), and of Blanche (20 years old), fruits of his love with his wife Hortense, is delighted to be able to reunite his family there, since his children “come and go” when the opportunity presents itself. But he also appreciates the moments spent alone in this village, when he is there out of season: “In winter, fall or spring, I am so comfortable here, in peace.”
“I don’t know a more beautiful place”: Denis Brogniart’s corner of paradise
But this sports aficionado doesn’t spend all his time enjoying himself! He takes advantage of his free time to climb the Canadel Pass by bike and vary the circuits, or make progress on the writing of a new novel. “I travel all over the world, but honestly, I don’t know a more beautiful place than this“, he even assured.
And if this corner of France sometimes experiences episodes of high temperatures, this does not bother Denis Brogniart at all, who appreciates the heat. “I understand people who can no longer stand the heat but that’s not my case (…) When one Saturday at the end of March it was 25 or 26 degrees, it felt good. And as with my wife and my children, we are a good match, it’s perfect“, detailed the man who was a presenter at Club Med before working on television.
The rest of the year, Denis Brogniart lives in a beautiful house in Bièvres, a small town in Essonne, south of Paris. “Here, it’s nature 10 km from Paris. I’m only ten minutes from TF1 by motorbike!“, he explained to Parisian. The essential thing for the animator is to remain constantly in contact with nature.
