Since the beginning of the summer, and after the announced departure of Olivier Minne, Cyril Féraud has taken over the reins of Fort Boyard. A dream come true for the 41-year-old host who spent his childhood imagining his future on television in this legendary Fort.
Cyril Féraud’s parents have “let it happen” : “They never put barriers on me”
It is now done. And the parents of the main person concerned, Michel – who died in 2019 from cancer – and Dominique, have a lot to do with it! A true support for their only son, they never missed an opportunity to support him. “They always believed in it and never put any barriers in my way”Cyril Féraud recently announced in the columns of 7 Days TV.
“I left to live in Paris at 17. I was an only child, I came from the South of France and I knew absolutely no one in the profession. My parents let me do it”he explained before detailing: “They even went out of their way to rent me a maid’s room under the roof. I will never forget it”.
Moreover, the darling of the PAF, who had a particularly unpleasant first job in his youth, readily admits: “Everything that happens to me is also thanks to them”. And he intends to return it to his mother! If Tim’s father “who was with (him) in Charente-Maritime during the filming (of Fort Boyard, editor’s note)” settled down in Issy-les-Moulineaux, career required, he never misses an opportunity to return to her in the South of France.
Cyril Féraud from Digne-les-Bains: where does he live today?
Due to professional obligations, Cyril Féraud settled several years ago in Issy-les-Moulineaux, a wealthy commune in Hauts-de-Seine located on the outskirts of Paris. A haven of peace where he raises his son in peace, far from the hustle and bustle of the capital. He also lives in the same building as one of his closest friends, his “brother of heart”Laurent Luyat.
But, deeply attached to the South, and to his mother, who has lived alone since 2019, he often returns to Digne-les-Bains, the town where he grew up. His family home, where his mother still lives, is a true refuge for him. And he hopes that she will become one for his son, Tim!
