Does loyalty really pay? On the love side, the explosion of relational models of yesteryear shows us that not necessarily. What about the merchant side? Do we still gain consuming continuously in the same traders? Well, much more really, unfortunately … to their big regret, the fashionists attended, year after year, the disappearance of many advantages and loyalty programs – H&M the last.
Recently, it was announced that the anniversary offer of the Swedish label, which gave the right to 25% reduction on the product of our choice, will no longer be relevant … A news that has caused the disarray of many fashionistas – the fashion industry already with very few programs unlike our beauty sisters. Usable in stores and online, the precious sesame made it possible to shop any H&M scratched part – excluding promotional offers – at an even more affordable price. So what is the date on which this famous advantage ends?
In an email communicated to members of the loyalty program on February 25, H&M announces that it was this Monday, March 17 that its famous birthday offer will stop. But the ready-to-wear brand wants to be reassuring towards its inveterate customers: the latter “will (simply) be replaced by exclusive advantages throughout the year”.
Members prices, early access to promotions, invitations to events and others: in its brand new loyalty program, “Nothing is lost, everything is transformed”as Lavoisier said so well. So, will these advantages be as profitable as the offer that disappears? God only knows. In the meantime, for those born between March 14 and 16, it’s time or never to enjoy it!
