Following the visit of the Hemea pros, this space no longer has anything to do with it and that’s a good thing. How was it transformed and, above all, what was it replaced by? You will soon find out.
It took 10 months of construction for Hemea to transform this space and bring to life the vision of its owner, based in New York. This complete restructuring project made it possible to rethink the circulation of the premises and to redesign the volumes. The goal? Restore this Haussmann-style apartment to all its former splendor. The result is a high-end living space, where contemporary comfort dialogues harmoniously with the past.
All the period elements are an integral part of the new decoration of these 200 m². Starting with the carefully restored herringbone parquet flooring, which captures the light and warms the atmosphere. The original moldings and wooded bases, witnesses of preserved historical know-how. Without forgetting the marble fireplaces, proudly erected in each room, which bring an inimitable character.
Far from being stuck in the past, the apartment dares to strike a striking contemporary contrast. The decoration is based around a timeless palette: a subtle play of bright white and deep black, underlined by a filigree graphic spirit. This aesthetic bias is displayed with style throughout the visit.
To crown this exceptional achievement, the apartment reserves a rare and spectacular surprise with this direct and breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower. At nightfall, the monument sparkles and becomes part of the decor, transforming the living room into a living painting.
But let’s go back a little, to the original kitchen. Facing the courtyard side, this space was sorely lacking in light, worse, it seemed abandoned and dilapidated. From the floor to the walls, it has been completely redesigned and has even changed its function!
The ingenious inversion of the rooms made it possible to orient the kitchen towards the Eiffel Tower to offer maximum light. At the same time, the former dark space was transformed into a sumptuous bathroom, adjoining the master suite.
Worthy of the largest hotels, this spacious bathroom has partitioned toilets, a bathtub, a large walk-in shower and a double sink. What is he missing? Absolutely nothing, she’s perfect!
