Diane Parry is the last French chance for the 2026 edition of Roland-Garros. Here’s everything you need to know about the tennis player.
After Loïs Boisson last year, it is Diane Parry’s turn to shine at the Parisian clay court tournament of Roland-Garros (see slideshow of the stars in the stands). The tennis player hopes to qualify for her first quarter-final here, after her match against Maja Chwalińska on June 1. Here are its secrets.
How old is Diane Parry?
Diane Parry was born on September 1, 2002, in Nice, she is now 23 years old. The player currently ranked 92nd in the world in the WTA rankings, was notably the 2019 junior world champion. Since her youth, she has lived only for tennis and left the South very early to come live in the Paris region, in Boulogne-Billancourt… very close to Roland-Garros!
“I know the site well. My school was right across the street. I passed by it every day, I dreamed of being able to set foot there. It tickled me… Now it’s the case, I train there all year round and I play in the tournament, so I’m proud of how far I’ve come. It’s the holy grail for little ones who dream of this sport. Having a Grand Slam ten minutes from home is a privilege“, she said to 20 minutes in 2022.
Where does Diane Parry live?
If Diane Parry is originally from the South of France but grew up in Boulogne-Billancourt, for some time now the tennis player who measures 1.70 meters has moved thousands of kilometers from France. “For two years, I have been in Dubai, the conditions are perfect to be able to acclimatize, already play outside for 5, 6 weeks, adapt to the weather. Even for the journey, it makes a lot of things easier to go to Australia behind“, she confided to Tennis News last May.
And Diane Parry intends to stay living in Dubai despite the tensions in the region: “I always have in mind to stay there. We know that things can change quickly, in one direction or the other. We are here monitoring the situation, hoping that it does not get too bad, that it returns to normal. For the moment, I haven’t planned anything.”

Diane Parry is happily married and shares her life with a colleague: the tennis player Harold Mayot. Originally from Metz, he is 24 years old. The couple does not display their private life but the athlete nevertheless confided in April 2025 to The Teamduring the Madrid tournament, that he didn’t really like that his sweetheart was there in the box reserved for the players’ relatives when he was on the pitch…
“It’s not necessarily something I like when she comes like that in the last game, it’s stressful when the box changes, but we’ll talk about it together“, he told the newspaper.
What are Diane Parry’s earnings?
Before knowing where her journey will end in the 2026 edition of Roland-Garros, Diane Parry has already accumulated $3,383,498 in tournament winnings to date. By qualifying for the round of 16 of the clay court tournament, she should pocket an additional check for 285,000 euros. And, because dreaming is not forbidden, if she achieves the feat of winning the tournament, the prize money amounts to the tidy sum of 2.8 million euros.
