Across all ages, origins, incomes, sexual orientations and geographic locations, a pattern seems to repeat itself. Unsurprisingly, the summer season comes out on top when it comes to choosing a date. And more precisely, the French’s favorite day to put a ring on their finger is July 12! Then follow June 7, 21 and 28, as well as August 23. But what about the worst date to get married?
Logically, it is the days of autumn and winter which are the least popular with future spouses. It must be said that the weather there is often more capricious than in summer, and nothing guarantees a blue sky illuminating the splendid colors of autumn, or a day of snow which would, however, add an undeniable dose of magic to the ceremony. And for those who prefer an outdoor wedding, the temperature alone is enough to make this season the bane of future brides and grooms. Among the dates least appreciated by couples this year, we find in particular November 15 and 22, or December 27 and January 4. In addition to the ambient freshness that accompanies them, these days are certainly too close to the end-of-year celebrations and the family reunions that go with them: it is difficult to find guests who will be present at this period. But the day that French brides and grooms seem to want to avoid at all costs is… November 29!
