At STUDIO KLEIN, interior architecture and decoration merge to form a single signature. The proof with this sleeping area, brought up to date and those of its new occupants.
It is in La Frette-sur-Seine, between Val-d’Oise and Yvelines, that this majestic 250 m² millstone stands spread over two levels. Perched on the hillside with a breathtaking view of the Seine, it immediately attracted a Parisian couple and their twins, looking for a green refuge. The family gave Stéphane Satorra and David Duron carte blanche to awaken the potential of this exceptional property and adapt it to their contemporary lifestyle codes.
Although healthy, this residence had until then served as a second home and still bore the marks of a dated layout: overly partitioned rooms, an isolated kitchen and technical installations (electricity and plumbing) from another time. Yet the charm was there, intact: elegant bow windows on the ground floor and characterful beams upstairs. All that remained was to orchestrate the rebirth of this sleeping beauty.
After a complete upgrade, the house breathes again thanks to smoother circulation. If the ground floor has retained its precious historical remains, the upper floor has been completely redesigned. The old partitions have given way to a new floor, ready to welcome this new family life. The decoration plays the bold card with assertive Anglo-Saxon inspirations. No less than twelve shades from the Ressource color chart sculpt the volumes. This choice of saturated colors creates a vibrant dialogue between eras. The result? A carefully crafted atmosphere where every detail counts.
Upstairs, under the roof, if the charm of this bedroom of almost 15 m² was undeniable, it no longer met the needs of the couple, whose wish was to create a real cocoon there, as cozy as it was stylish and well arranged, for their twins.
Once the space has been optimized, it’s time for sleep and play. The twins’ sleeping area is tailor-made with an XXL platform, into which the bed bases have been cleverly integrated. As a bonus, it has multiple secret storage spaces and even a bookcase along the wall, between two cloud lamps.
Finally, the change of scenery is complete thanks to the Woody Chesnut panoramic wallpaper, signed Les Dominotiers, which frames the room and gives it the air of a wooded fairy tale.
