Christophe Lambert has no fixed residence in Paris: he lives from hotel to hotel! The 68-year-old actor revealed to Jordan De Luxe that he adopted this lifestyle a long time ago and that he has always been happy like this, except for the day he was kicked out of his hotel room…
Christophe Lambert has a somewhat unusual way of living: the actor doesn’t have an apartment in Paris, but he stays in hotels! The 68-year-old actor revealed in The Luxury Jetavailable on M6+ and on YouTube, that he adopted this lifestyle a long time ago…
Christophe Lambert: why he only lives in a hotel
“I have lived in the hotel for 30 years“, confided the native of Great Neck, New York, who resides in Parisian establishments quite “known“and who are”good hotels“, according to his confidences to Jordan De Luxe. And if he has a house in Los Angeles, Sophie Marceau’s ex-companion does not go there so frequently.
“I have a house in Los Angeles but my daughter (Eleanor, 32 years old, editor’s note) lives in New York, my ex-wife (Diane Lane, editor’s note) lives in the suburbs of New York in the mountains… And it’s easier to travel from Paris to New York than from Paris to Los Angeles. So I see my daughter every 6 to 10 weeks and we talk every other day“, he explained.
But why is Christophe Lambert so keen to live in hotels? “It’s practical: if I want to be alone, I stay in my room, if I want to see people, I go down to the bar“, he detailed in TV Star.
Christophe Lambert, kicked out of a hotel: “I was kindly asked to leave my room…”
However, this lifestyle posed a problem for him at the start of the pandemic, when Covid was raging. At the time, the establishment in which he lived did not have the capacity to adapt to the pandemic and clients had to leave the premises. The actor didn’t give in so easily and tried to stay within the hotel until he had no choice but to evacuate the place. But where had he spent his confinement, in this case? “I spent it in Aix-en-Provence with a friend, after I was kindly asked to leave my hotel room, under the pretext of not being able to ensure my safety, because of the health risks linked to Covid“, he clarified.
Recently, the actor decided, with his friends Michel Halimi and Philippe Bonon, to open his own hotel in Beaune, in Burgundy, the Voco hotel, and even renovated an old prison in Béziers to transform it into a hotel, simply called… the Hôtel de la Prison!
