Clémence Botino, crowned Miss France 2020, has just revealed in an interview that she has no memory of her election. “It’s horrible and frustrating,” assures the beauty queen.

This Saturday, December 6, the jury chaired by Michèle Bernier and the millions of TF1 viewers will elect Miss France 2026, during the final of the beauty contest live from the Zénith d’Amiens. Podcast guest The Com Sentinelsimagined by the Interférence Press agency, the former winner Clémence Botino (elected Miss France 2020), also returned to her own election. And she’s a bit special!

Clémence Botino has “forgotten everything” on the evening of her election as Miss France: “I was a zombie”

The young woman, now 28 years old, who recently spent a week with the candidates for the title of Miss France 2026 during their preparatory trip to Martinique, has forgotten everything about this crucial moment in her existence! “Becoming Miss France is so shocking in the moment that, personally, I had a blackout! So I forgot everything, so I don’t remember anything”she revealed to the podcast. “I have very vague memories of seeing my family…”however qualified Clémence Botino, but her memories of her coronation under the eyes of Jean-Pierre Foucault stop there.

Clemence Botino “regrets not having more memories” by Miss France

Moreover, this is not the first time that the Guadeloupean has mentioned this most troubling moment. Already in 2023, Clémence Botino revealed to the magazine Gala not have “not many memories” of his election, followed by 8.2 million viewers at coronation time: “It’s horrible and very frustrating. I wish I had more memories.”

“It’s like a television screen that goes black when everything cuts out. That’s what happened in my head. I remember talking to my competitor to ask her if she was okay. Then I looked at the screen and I said to myself: ‘I didn’t do all this in my life for it to stop now’. I believed it until the last second. And when they said Miss Guadeloupe, I don’t remember it Not even. Frankly, it disgusts and shocks me.”the entrepreneur admitted.
