The children make tickets, dress up, there is a scary film and of course: snacks. Because they don’t always have to be unhealthy, we were inspired by Seeberger this year, our favorite Snack supplier.
Or Milena was inspired and for you the Best snack plate EVER invented. To ensure that the film evening runs smoothly, we come from a few hot film tips. Because what we don’t like: discuss forever, which film is watched. We have tips for small children, for children from six and for large children, that is, for a creepy-scary evening for adults.
But first to the snack plate! As you know, there are tons of healthy snacks in the range of Seeberger. Everything is always in top quality, we appreciate the products from Seeberger very much. You can see on our snack plate: dried bananas, raisins, cashew nuts, burnt hazelnuts, dried mango, almonds, burnt pumpkin seeds, coconuts and apple rings. And for the little snack monsters we have a few more highlights. They go like this:
Bats made of mango, apricots, pumpkin seeds, raisins:
- Attach two strips of mango with the help of a toothpick and two raisins as an eye on apricot. Cut the apricot a little with a sharp knife and put a pumpkin seed as a mouth.
Kiwi monster from mango, banana chips, sugar eyes:
- Halve the kiwis and peel two thirds of the shell. For the arms with a sharp knife cut in a little and plug in dried mangoes. Put the sugar eyes on and put your mouth with a banana chip.
Banana spirits from pumpkin seeds:
- Peel the bananas and cut them on one side. Design a face with three pumpkin seeds.
Apple bits from coconuts:
- Wash and dry the apples. Cut out with a sharp knife and core carefully on the back. Cut a strip out for the mouth. Apply some peanut butter and plug your teeth with coconut chips.
Mandarine pumpkin with cashew nuts
- Paint pumpkin monsters with a waterproof pen on the shell of the mandarins and decorate them as a stem with a cashew kernel.
And here are our film tips for a scary evening – and without – kids!
Our favorite scary films with small children – ergo, films from zero!
We find important: not every child tolerates horror or scary films. We strongly recommend watching the film yourself beforehand, sitting with it and always paying attention to your own child. Maybe prefer to turn on the light while looking? Or start with something very relaxed?
The peanuts, the great pumpkin
The classic from 1966 is such a short film, for example. 25 minutes, many little ones can do that. And the story is so cute: Linus still stubbornly believes that the big pumpkin comes and brings brings children. And while the other sweets collect, he spends the whole night in the pumpkin field.
The little ghost
Another history of tradition that we simply love and that our children always find beautiful. A small night specter has been living at Eulenstein Castle since ancient times. During the day it slumbers in the attic in his chest. But slap midnight, it wakes up! Comes on October 15th. even on free TV.
Hui Buh – the lock ghost
Another classic – but in the remake! Ritter Balduin is exposed as a fraudster when playing cards – a flash hits him and he is occupied with a curse! So he becomes a ghost Hui Buh, who is up to mischief at Burgeeck Castle.
Our favorite scary films for larger children (FSK 6)
The following also applies here: Always observe the kids and be there, always clarify how they are doing. Children are just so different, some do nothing a bit creep, others dream of it weeks later …
Hotel Transsilvania
One of our favorite Halloween comics. The owner of the Hotel Transylvania, Dracula, becomes a concerned father when his growing daughter has an admirer. Wonderful, also for adults!
Hubie Halloween
Also a very nice film for kids. Hubie is not exactly popular in his home town. But when Halloween accepts creepy features, the heart -good outsider protects his city.
The Addams Family
In comic version! In good old Addamsman, funny and wonderful and miraculous. Of course you can also see the original from 1991, we love this film! However, this is released from the age of 12 and also much more scary.
And here are our film tips for adults!
Goose flesh
A creepy, but also entertaining film. It’s about Zach Cooper who meets the pretty Hannah, who has a somewhat strange father. RR is a writer and the Many devices from his books are real – and threaten humanity. Sometime Terrorize the city!
Candyman
A really creepy film and a sequel to the horror film of the same name from 1992. It is probably even scary but Candyman also took us quite a bit. Under no circumstances look with the children;)
The Void
And another real horror film that is not for Minor is. The story: a sheriff brings a bleeding man to the hospital. But with that he picks up the gateway to hell. Brrrrrrr.
Have fun scary and snack!
