They are now one of the most famous couples in the world and met completely by chance. What do we really know about the beginnings of the relationship between Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez?

Already the author of three goals since the start of the 2026 World Cup, Cristiano Ronaldo has largely contributed to Portugal’s qualification for the round of 16. This July 6, he is preparing to play a high-tension match against Spain… But the 41-year-old footballer can count on the support of Georgina Rodriguez, with whom he forms one of the most famous couples in the world.

Did Cristiano Ronaldo meet Georgina Rodriguez?

Parents of two children together and at the head of a blended family, the lovebirds have been partners for almost 10 years. However, nothing predestined the Portuguese footballer and the young saleswoman of Argentinian-Spanish origin to meet. Their story began almost by chance…

In 2016, while Georgina Rodriguez was an employee in a Gucci store in Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo entered the store. The Real Madrid player, who was then at the peak of his career, however, had a very brief exchange with the young saleswoman. But a few days later, fate put them back on the same path during an event organized by the luxury brand. This time, they took the time to get to know each other better.

“This is where we were able to talk in a relaxed atmosphere, far from workL. It was love at first sight for both of us.“, remembered the main person interested in the magazine ELLE Italia. In the documentary series Soy GeorginaCristiano Ronaldo also admits to having very quickly understood that their story would be different from the others. “I didn’t expect this to happen. But, honestly, after a while I felt that Georgina was the woman of my life“, he confided, even evoking a real “click” between them as soon as they met.

At the start of their relationship, Georgina Rodriguez continued to work… but unlike the other store employees, the Portuguese footballer sometimes came to pick her up from the store, driving his luxury cars. A situation which still amuses the young woman today: “They arrived by bus and I left in a Bugatti. They couldn’t believe it“.

Where do Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez live?

Based today in Saudi Arabia, where Cristiano Ronaldo continues his career at the Al-Nassr FC club, they own, among other things, two villas on a private island, but also paid 25 million euros for the most expensive house in Portugal, indicates AD Magazinea property located in the Quinta da Marinha area, on the Cascais coast.

If the athlete was already the father of Cristiano Junior, born in 2010 from a relationship with a woman whose name he did not mention, and of twins Eva and Mateo, born in 2017 to a surrogate mother, the one who is nicknamed “CR7” then had two children with Georgina Rodriguez: Alana, 8 years old, and Bella Esmeralda, 4 years old.

Despite the death of their little boy Angel during childbirth, the lovebirds remained united and overcame this terrible ordeal together. “We are both very combative and perseverant. We never give up. There is great chemistry between us“, confided the young woman to Elle Italia.
