Almost 10 years after their meeting in “L’Amour est dans le pré”, Monique and Jean-Marc are still in perfect love. After a radical change of life, what happens to the electrician who gave up everything for his helicopter?
On the occasion of the episode dedicated to the 20 years of Love is in the meadowthe second part of which will be broadcast this Monday, December 15 on M6, Monique and Jean-Marc, emblematic faces of season 11, spoke to Tele-Leisure. And one thing is certain: between them, it is still true love!
Jean-Marc (Love is in the meadow)y “went French” : “I changed everything”
Nine and a half years after their meeting thanks to the program presented by Karine Le Marchand, the former helicopter operator, now retired, and her electrician companion are enjoying life. “We managed to get through 9 and a half years, and for me it’s fabulous”admitted the main person concerned. It must be said that they took risks to get there. “I changed my life. I do the same job but I changed companies and I completely changed region, from the southwest, I moved to the southeast”said Jean-Marc who “went French”.
And for good reason, the former suitor gave up everything for his sweetheart. “We spent six days on the farm from March 31 to April 5, and I came with my suitcases on April 20. I had to find a job. It’s certain that I changed everything, because my family and my friends are in the South-West”he explained, now reassured in his choice.
Jean-Marc and Monique (Love is in the meadow) still very much in love: “We have a lot in common”
The secret to the longevity of their relationship according to Monique? “We have a lot in common, we like the mountains, hiking… We tend to have a calm life, we don’t like to get too excited or do too many things because we have a snail’s pace which might not suit others who are more energetic. As we get older, we like to savor”.
Now retired, the former snail breeder definitely did well to register for Love is in the meadow almost ten years ago. Now she’s taking advantage of it! “Everything is going well, I’m taking the opportunity to take care of Jean-Marc, prepare him some good meals. At the weekend, we organize things”she even confided to the site.
