The last few years have been fruitful for Arnaud Ducret. A regular on TF1 dramas, he also stars in the play “Guinea Pig”. And if his career took off, it might well have never seen the light of day…
At 47, Arnaud Ducret has become an essential personality on the small screen, who is very frequently found in TF1 fiction. For example, we recently saw him in the TV movie Dad in spite of himself. But before pursuing a career as a comedian and actor, he had considered a career far removed from show business.
Arnaud Ducret misdirected by his teachers: “That way you can get into…”
As many students still deplore today, Arnaud Ducret was not very well advised on his future by his teachers. “National education sent me into electrical engineering, even though I wanted to do radio. The guy from school shouted and said: ‘Wait, we’re on 14 light bulbs per week’even quipped the one who is currently starring in the play Guinea pig and who earns a lot of money with his current profession. “And so I said to my mother: ‘I have to go, I have to work. I’m going to go to Paris, I’m going to find a job, don’t worry, trust me’added Oscar’s father.
“I said to her: ‘It’s that or I’m going to get depressed, really’. And so she told me ok, and I left”finally let go of Arnaud Ducret. He is also not the only one in show business to have tried or considered other paths before finding himself. This is the case of Miou-Miou who tried her hand at an unusual profession or Amel Bent who dreamed of a specialized profession before singing…
