Since her election as Miss France 2026, Hinaupoko Devèze has made mental health a top priority. And for good reason, the beauty queen herself was faced with burnout.
Currently in Polynesia alongside Camille Cerf, her godmother, for the regional election of Miss Tahiti 2026, Hinaupoko Devèze was invited to Europe 1 before taking off. In the show What if we talked about itthe 24-year-old young woman spoke about the burn-out she suffered when she was younger. And which affects many French people.
Hinaupoko Devèze talks about her burnout: “When you no longer want to wake up every morning…”
“I fell very low, very very low”immediately declared Miss France 2026. “Except that the luck I have is that I have parents who work in the medical profession of psychiatry and also who touch psychology. So I knew how to analyze the fact that things were not going well. Because when you no longer want to wake up every morning, when you don’t even think about tomorrow, there’s a problem.”continued the one who suffered a burnout during his law studies in the middle of the Covid period, in 2020.
Hinaupoko Devèze, who admitted that she had “yet nothing to complain about“, having profited”d‘education, comfort of life”, assured that he felt a deep, inexplicable uneasiness. “MBut it wasn’t right inside. And I myself didn’t know what words, what to put on it, and so I asked my parents for help (…) And my parents took it seriously, they guided me.”
Hinaupoko Devèze “paralyzed” : “I no longer saw any meaning in my life”
“Thanks to this psychologist who helped me understand all that, I turned to psychology, which gave me even other keys. That’s when I realized that these are tools that should be within everyone’s reach”finally concluded the 96th Miss France of the competition.
A painful episode that she had already mentioned a few months ago on the set ofAs an aside : “As if I was paralyzed in a loop where, whether it was night or day, I no longer saw any meaning in my life and I could no longer escape from this infernal whirlwind where I felt bad.” Fortunately, this is all history for the beauty queen.
