Alongside Pauline Clément and Thomas Solivérès, the father of 13-year-old Oscar, the son he had with dancer Maurine Nicot, plays a disillusioned son. Throughout the film, he tries to understand why his parents, played by Miou-Miou and André Dussolier, are so selfish. Asked about the strange decision of his cinema parents by our colleagues from TV 7 daysthe actor responded bluntly. Would he also want to keep his money for himself if he won the lottery? “I subscribe to the opposite”he immediately affirmed.
“Life is short, money is still freedom”he then clarified. Before insuring: “Of course, you shouldn’t do anything, it’s important to know the price and nothing is more rewarding than earning it yourself, but, for me, life is about sharing”. Questioned immediately about his relationship with money, Arnaud Ducret made it appear that he came from a “modest environment” : “I have no complexes and zero preconceptions on the subject”.
“I worked to earn it and I am aware of my luck. Money alone is boring. I love sharing it with those I love“, added the man who today shares his life with the dancer Claire Francisci, whom he married in 2021.
The day Arnaud Ducret won at the casino: “The feeling is quite incredible”
If Arnaud Ducret has never won big winnings in the lottery, he recently revealed, on the set of Novo19having won a lot of money at the casino! “I went there, I looked at the social security guy, I said to him ‘but tell me, there are people who win there’. He told me ‘well yeah, we have to fall into the right cycle’. And I won”he detailed.
However, the actor did not win 150 million euros like in the film! “We are between 10 and 30 (000 euros), but I had played 150”. And to conclude: “I had just hung up with my wife who told me ‘you are never going to win, with machines you never win anything (…) The feeling is quite incredible and I was so lucky’.
