From the end of March to June. The destinations of Pope Leo’s next apostolic journeys have been made known. We start on March 28th with a one-day visit to the principality of Monaco. The most awaited trip, however, is the one to Africa where, in ten days, the Pontiff will visit four countries: Algeria, where he had said several times that he wanted to follow in the footsteps of Saint Augustine, Cameroon, Angola and Equatorial Guinea. In detail, the Pope will travel to Algiers and Annaba from 13 to 15 April; in Yaoundé, Bamenda and Douala from 15 to 18 April; in Luanda, Muxima and Saurimo from 18 to 21 April; and in Malabo, Mongomo and Bata from 21 to 23 April.
From 6 to 12 June, however, in conjunction with the inauguration of the Sagrada Famiglia, the Pope will travel to Spain.
At the same time, all the already disclosed dates of the trips to Italy are confirmed: 8 May morning in Pompeii, the afternoon in Naples, 23 May in Acerra, 20 June in Pavia, 4 July in Lampedusa, 6 August with young people in Assisi and 22 August in Rimini at the 47th Meeting for Friendship among Peoples
