Created in 1948, this fragrance that everyone knows occupies a special place in Karine Ferri’s heart. Discover his identity…
Everyone has a perfume capable of bringing back buried memories, like a real olfactory Proust madeleine. This is the case of Karine Ferri, who recently confided her attachment to a scent from her childhood that she particularly cherishes. If Cerruti 1881 has accompanied him since adolescence, another fragrance occupies an even more intimate place in his heart, reminding him of very precious moments.
In an interview given to the latest issue of 7 Days TV which she is on the cover of, the TV presenter spoke in turn about her song of the moment, the latest film she watched or even the series she watches with her husband. And when asked about the perfume that takes her back to her childhood, she answers bluntly: “L’Air du Temps by Nina Ricci, which my mother wore.“. Much more than a simple bottle, this famous fragrance embodies for her a strong emotional link with her childhood memories. Created in 1948, several decades before her birth, this floral and spicy perfume remains one of the first great classics of modern women’s perfumery.
Described as “an ode to peace, love and freedom“, L’Air du Temps by Nina Ricci seduces with the subtle balance between freshness and sweetness of a floral bouquet carried by the elegant power of carnation. The composition opens with sparkling notes of peach, rose, carnation, rosewood, neroli and bergamot, before revealing a rich heart blending jasmine, gardenia, myrtle, ylang-ylang, orchid, iris root, violet, rosemary and rose. The trail then continues with a warm base of musk, oakmoss, cedar, spices, benzoin, iris, sandalwood, vetiver and amber.
Behind him, he leaves a mark that is feminine, sensual and daring, which has remained intact for more than 75 years. No wonder Karine Ferri’s mother succumbed to this olfactory signature, still available today in perfumery for a price generally less than 100 euros!
