Perched in an old Marseille building in the Noailles district, this 58 m² did not have the usual charms. No tums on the horizon, no chimney in working order or crisp parquet … but a light that radiates throughout the day thanks to three beautiful windows on the front. And this is what appealed to the new owner, in search of a sunny pied-à-terre that she could also offer for seasonal rental. A brightness which has largely inspired the transformation imagined by Stéphanie Le Rouzic, founder of the agency March April.
A solar decoration which better reflects the environment of the apartment
Registering the apartment in its environment, instilling in the Mediterranean charm of the neighborhood, was essential in the eyes of Stéphanie Le Rouzic. A white base precisely made it possible to highlight the presence of light, inseparable from Marseille. A light concrete ragid was thus sunk on the existing floors to accompany the sun race and unify the different parts. This bright backdrop was then warmed with naturally warm materials such as wood, touches of pop colors, and more or less unusual objects found in second hand. The winning combination of a cheerful and solar decoration, adapted to the desires of the owner, and attractive for passenger vacationers.
