The 52-year-old actress returned to live in Bougival, the place where she grew up, in 1998, after spending several years in Paris, overworked by the hustle and bustle of the capital. Today, she leads a peaceful existence with her family. But his children, Billy, 15, and Alfred, 14, would have preferred to live in a more lively place than this town of 9,000 inhabitants. “We live in a suburb where they are fed up because there are only old people“, said the actress in a recent interview with Tele-Leisure.
Gérard Depardieu’s daughter lives in a former presbytery with a garden where she cultivates her vegetable garden. But if she appreciates this living environment, Julie Depardieu is also frustrated by certain aspects of this city which is located 20km from Paris. She would even like to move one day to live in a place with a milder climate. “I dream of settling in the provinces. I have the impression that in the region nothing is a problem. In Paris or in the suburbs people are depressed”, she confided to New Republic.
