A successful bet for Isabelle Huppert. Her interpretation of the floral dress dusts off this wardrobe classic and shakes up the fashion sphere in every sense of the word. The actress does not lack sartorial creativity.
On June 8, Isabelle Huppert pulled out her best outfit for her visit to the American Cinematheque in Los Angeles. And the least we can say is that it has not gone unnoticed…
It was for the second night of the BleakWeeka cinematographic event whose theme this year was “The cinema of despair”, that the celebrity had visited the United States. To rediscover French films The Ceremony (1995) and Violette Nozière (1978), Isabelle Huppert opted for a chic and relaxed outfit. It had the particularity of mixing clothing styles, creating a surprising ensemble.
The key piece of her silhouette was her designer floral dress Gucci and from the Pre-Fall 2026-2027 ready-to-wear collection. The multiple colors and flowers in varied designs offered a creation that was both romantic and daring, which suited the 73-year-old actress perfectly.
It was on the accessories side that Isabelle Huppert surprised us. While delicate pieces would have been the easy and obvious choice to accompany a floral dress, the actress preferred originality.
So, for her shoes, she also relied on Gucci with black leather boots, decorated with a small silver chain on the front. The redhead had also set her sights on the Italian house for her bag. No clutch, no minaudière: the one who was born in Paris dared to wear the large “Paparazzo” bag.
This model displaying the emblematic colors of Gucci is available at a price of 3200 euros. Isabelle Huppert therefore twisted her floral dress with statement pieces, to create a look in her image. And it works!
