For luscious lips, no need for surgery. Here is a makeup tip to reproduce at home, and it only takes two minutes.
Forgetting the injections. For luscious lips without going through the scalpel box, there are many little tips to reproduce on a daily basis. One of our favorites? Apply a hyaluronic acid serum in the mouth morning and evening, followed by petroleum jelly or an emollient that encloses water in the epidermis, and therefore helps retain humidity longer. This improves hydration, and thus gives this volume effect which remains quite subtle. In a few weeks, you will notice an improvement in color, definition and size of the lip contour.
But if you do not want to wait a few weeks (you can understand), another technique makes it possible to instantly obtain a volume effect on the lips. To do this, you will only need a pencil and a gloss or lipstick. You don’t even have to be a makeup expert! Popularized by the professional makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic, the founder of the Makeup by Mario brand, the trick is simply to draw his mouth in pencil by insisting on two places: the Cupid arc and the center of the bottom lip. By exceeding slightly, these key points are enough to give a real volume effect while remaining natural. You can obviously draw the rest of the mouth if you wish but less visible.
To obtain an even more “your lips but better”, do not hesitate to choose a pencil that is close to the initial color of your mouth. Add a touch of tinted or gloss balm, and voila! You can also choose a matching pencil and lipstick to make this technique. In two minutes time you get a crunchy mouth.
Practical when you don’t have time to make up in the morning! The faux step to avoid? The lips take shape on the natural line of the lips, or even below, at the risk of giving yourself a closed or pinched side.
