Whether it is rather fluid, princess or mermaid style, the white dress is almost always imposing. In fact, some brides-to-be need their bridesmaids to help them button the back or put on the outfit. With layers of fabric, tulle and noble materials that we don’t want to crease or get dirty, the moment to go to the toilet is often dreaded. If you have ever gone through the wedding process, you have certainly been faced with this situation, wearing the bottom of the dress that goes up to your neck… Not very comfortable. On social networks, Shannon Martin, founder of a bridal boutique Dotty Bridal, shared a rather ingenious tip, through a video that has gone viral (which we share with you at the top of the article). This British woman wears a particularly voluminous lace dress and shows how peeing in her wedding dress and sitting on the toilet is rather complex. “As you can see, it’s an absolute nightmare,” declares the young woman before revealing a position that should change the lives of future brides.
She in fact reverses the sitting position, by simply placing herself facing the wall, legs apart on the bowl. It is also possible to place the bottom of the dress over the edge of the bowl which is raised in front of us. Thus, the back of the dress, the bottom of which takes up a lot of space, is less annoying, since the dress can drag on the ground behind us.
So, if you’re getting married this year, this little tip might just come in handy on the big day, when you suddenly have to pee even though you’ve already put on your most beautiful white dress.
