Fashion is sacred for Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, hailed for her extraordinary outfits on Netflix as well as in real life. Confidences.

Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu is on the cover of the new issue of Madame Figaro, available since January 16, 2026. She spoke about her taste for fashion and two women in her life.

It was for a unique fashion shoot that Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu posed for the French magazine. As stylish as Sylvie Grateau, the incisive character she plays in the series Emily in Paristhe actress always shows herself in exquisite looks, both on screen and in everyday life. Moreover, she owes her fashion expertise to one person in particular. “The taste for beauty, more than for fashion, was passed on to me by my mother. She was a model and then a decorator”, she confided. Her mother’s creativity led her to work in a beautiful French luxury house. “She worked at Dior with Marc Bohan, as a jewelry, knitwear and accessories designer. (…) With her, I was immersed in aesthetics and a certain opulence“, underlined the star who also admitted to having distanced herself from the world of fashion while growing up. However, it was by playing Sylvie Grateau that Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu rediscovered this first love: “I dove back into fashion with Emily in Paris“, she confessed.

This appetite for fashion was passed on to Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, but also to the latter’s daughter. Taïs Bean also posed with her mother for the first time for Madame Figaro. The mother-daughter duo revealed all their chic and obvious complicity.

“Taïs, as a child, was fascinated by the work of my mother, Nonna, as she calls her”declared the muse of the jewelry brand Pomellato. The 35-year-old even dug into her grandmother’s closet, finding exceptional pieces.

“She also borrowed his loose coats or trench coats which fit him perfectly, because they are the same size”said Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu who, at 62, proves to us that there is no age to have fun with fashion.
