Guest on the set of C to youthe 83-year-old singer revealed that she hosted the late Johnny Hallyday for a time. Very friends in life, the two artists with opposing worlds were therefore roommates for several weeks. The wife and muse of Jean-Jacques Debout opened the doors of his old apartment, located rue des Saint-Pères in the very chic border between the 6th and 7th arrondissement of Paris, in Taulier… Who lived like the rockstar that he was!
“He lived at home, I remember rue des Saints-Pères, because Sylvie Vartan was in the United States so he said to me: ‘Can I come and live with you? I have an apartment that is under construction.’ I told him: ‘You’re coming!'”first told Chantal Goya. Before going into details: “‘Can I invite some friends?’ I said, ‘Of course.’ All of a sudden, in the rue des Saint-Pères which is narrow, I hear a noise… 80 bikers! They were everywhere! We had put in a beautiful white carpet, there were big footprints everywhere but I didn’t care…”

And the one that Jean-Philippe Smet nicknamed “the Johnny Hallyday of children” – but was still mocked in the profession – had breathtaking adventures with her late friend. “And one day he said to me: ‘I’m going to go see Jacques Brel in Man of La Mancha’ (a musical comedy from the period, editor’s note). I said to him: ‘I’d like too, how do we get there?’, ‘We’re going there by motorbike'”remembered the mother of Jean-Paul and Clarisse on set. Before continuing, with a smile on your face: “He accelerated so much that I passed over him, I had already left before him and then in the end I came back by metro!”
