Decor enthusiasts can rejoice at the news: they will be able to treat themselves to pieces designed by the talented decorator at very affordable prices.
Maisons du Monde never ceases to enchant interiors and spring will be no exception. The brand, which appeals both for its furniture and its fashionable decoration, surprises decoration lovers each season by calling on personalities to offer an exclusive capsule collection.
Over the years, the creations of Maisons du Monde have mixed with the vibrant colors of Lisa Gachet’s world for vases, lamps and even a bed set. Designer Sakina M’Sa also instilled her optimism in a limited collection where tableware and rugs mixed together. Even the chef Mory Sacko took part in the design exercise by offering a creative collection which explored the culinary world and the crafts of which he is passionate.
For this new collaboration, the brand focuses on elegance by choosing an iconic French interior architect and designer, recognized for her timeless style combining Parisian chic, signature blue, clean lines and noble materials. Sarah Poniatowski, creator of the Maison Sarah Lavoine brand, designed around thirty pieces. Called Tamsa, the collection is inspired by her travels to Morocco and particularly a village where the decorator likes to surf. The terracotta objects, saffron yellow with hints of turquoise, recall the sand, the sun and the sea in a luminous set that can be installed both inside and outside the house.
Among our favorites, we find a steel sun lounger, a terracotta candle with a delicious scent, a graphic parasol or even sunny tableware with palm tree motifs. With its cleverly orchestrated colors, the collection focuses on escape and makes you want warmth.
The good news? The collaboration pieces are very accessible. You can treat yourself to a plate from 6.99 euros, sunbathe in a deckchair for 59.99 euros or even enjoy a rug for 129 euros. The set will be available in limited edition in stores and online during the month of May.
