For many years, Japanese beauty has intrigued. Almost as recognized as the K-Beauty (Korean products), the J-Beauty is full of products with fascinating technology, developed formulas and formidable efficiency. Boredom? Very few brands are available on the French market, to our great despair. However, a few weeks ago, the number one brand for sensitive skins in Japan, launched in France. After a duration test, the author of these lines is won over.
A true institution in Japan, this brand specializes in understanding sensitive epiderms thanks to very soft active ingredients. The objective? Salle and pamper the face. Founded in 1985, Curél is now a place in pharmacies and parapharmacies in France. If in Japan, the brand’s catalog has about fifty references, here only six products in the intense hydration range are offered. Based on the beauty rituals from the country of the rising sun, we therefore find what it takes for a double cleaning in good and due shape (makeup remover, cleaning foam …). Obviously, the selection includes an essence (essential step in Japan), but also moisturizing creams. The products are enriched with ceramids, an essential element to keep the skin healthy. As a reminder, they act like a glue now the cells of the epidermis together, preventing water loss and thus guarantee a healthy skin barrier. Result ? The face is hydrated, rebounded but also and above all comfortable.
Having very sensitive skin, I blush extremely easily. To tell you the truth, even some announced pharmacy products “for sensitive skin” cause me unpleasant reactions. When testing the brand, part of me was a bit skeptical. But it is clear that the products offered by Curél are really soft. I’ve been using the foam cleaner for several weeks. Usually, I do not appreciate this texture, too aggressive for my epidermis, but this time after use my skin does not tug. Unexpected. Very appreciable detail: the foam has been formulated without perfume, or coloring or alcohol.
The intense moisturizer is also worth the detour: I apply it in the evening after the serum. The texture is light, nourishing without being oily, it is therefore suitable for my mixed skin. When I wake up, my fine lines of dehydration on the forehead are less visible and my bright skin. In short, in a few weeks priest led me. The only downside? Product prices. If they are not excessive (count around twenty euros per reference), build a real routine can return to Cher.
