Marianne Brandstetter, aka “the Baroness”, is more discreet in the media after bursting onto the screen in the early 2000s, notably in “La Ferme Célébrités 2”. But, recently, “Nice-Matin” found the trace of the eccentric jet-setter who celebrated her birthday in Monaco, surrounded by the elite…

You saw her in many shows in the early 2000s, from Everyone is talking about it has sharp 8:10 p.m. through his unforgettable appearance in the second season of The Celebrity Farm, on TF1, alongside Régine, Jordy, Philippe Risoli and Nathalie Marquay… But what has become of Marianne von Brandstetter today, this self-proclaimed baroness who is both quirky and endearing?

Marianne Brandstetter celebrated her 90th birthday in Monaco: who were the VIP guests?

While it has been extremely discreet over the past two decades, Nice-Morning found the trace of Marianne Brandstetter. And she just celebrated her 90th birthday at the hotel Fairmont Monte Carloin Monaco! No wonder since Marianne Brandstetter resides, according to the local daily, in this exceptional hotel in Le Rocher.

For the occasion, the new nonagenarian was surrounded by beautiful people… If Prince Albert of Monaco could not be there, he thought of having a “greeting card and a large bouquet of red and white flowers“. Alexandre Ariel, general manager of the hotel, and Victoria Barker, executive assistant, but also the widow of businessman Michel Pastor (and mother-in-law of David Hallyday) Catherine Pastor, Princess Isabelle de Polignac and Countess Bénédicte von Schönborn-Wiesentheid were present to see her blow out her candles, as was her famous friend, the writer and journalist Henry-Jean Servat. The latter also gave some details on this exceptional evening.

What happens to Marianne Brandstetter?

“Her first idea had been to prepare for all her guests a gigantic and magnificent sauerkraut, her favorite dish, but she was not sure that this specialty from across the Rhine, which she loves, would please everyone.“, he first explained to Nice-Morning. So, the one we nicknamed “the baroness” chose a completely different, more sophisticated menu: “Eggs Benedict with salmon and squash soup as starters, followed by grilled sea bass fillet or beef chuck with mash and vegetables“. The party was successful and “many bursts of toast” were worn in honor of Baroness Brandstetter.

In recent years, Marianne Brandstetter has shared her life between Monaco, New York and Miami and has continued to participate in social life on the Rock. In 2018, she also organized a sale of her belongings within the hotel Fairmont Monte Carlothe profits of which were paid to the association “Les Anges Gardiens de Monaco”.

Marianne Brandstetter was the wife of the aristocrat and businessman Frank von Brandstetter, who made his fortune in luxury hotels and real estate. When she died, she received millions of euros in inheritance. But the Baroness also worked since, in her youth, she notably worked in the trading of rough diamonds in Africa, as she confided in Everyone is talking about it.
