Located in Isère, the town of Avenières welcomes Walibi Rhône-Alpes since the end of the 1970s. This amusement park, recognizable by its emblematic mascot, the kangaroo, continues to evolve. Today he offers 36 attractions and shows at the heart of 3 fully immersive thematic universes: Explorer Adventure, Festival City and Exotic Island. What’s new at Walibi Park?
This year 2026, Walibi Rhône-Alpes is completing the transformation of its Exotic Island area by inaugurating a brand new 8,500 m² family adventure space. Three major new features await visitors from May:
- Repair’Ta Kar : a unique attraction in Europe where families and teenagers board colorful 4x4s for an exploration mission punctuated by dynamic bounces and rotations, full of retro references.
- The Lost Expedition : a fun and active adventure course made of suspension bridges and modules to cross which winds right next to the big roller coaster.
- The Forgotten Passage : an immersive plant maze ideal for little ones, who will have fun exploring underground tunnels like real adventurers.
What attractions at Walibi Park?
If you’re not afraid, get your fill of thrills with must-sees like Eqwalizer, SkunX Tower or even Mystic and its dizzying vertical drop of 31 meters inhabited by voodoo spirits. Speed and water enthusiasts will appreciate Radja River, Bambooz River, La Coccinelle and the impressive powered roller coaster Mahuka.
Do you prefer sweetness? Head to Melody Road for a leisurely stroll. In Festival City, an area inspired by Louisiana, the whole family has fun thanks to the giant swings of Hurricane, the height trip of Ballon Race, or the pirouettes of P’tits Chaudrons. The youngest also have their own dedicated circuits, water play areas and can venture into the spinning Airboat (from 1.05 m) or aboard Dock’N Roll to brave the waves.
