Jérémy Ferrari arrives at the cinema with the film “LES K D’OR”. But it was first on stage that he began his career. For several years, he has been comfortable with money and does not hide it.

Jérémy Ferrari has managed to establish himself as one of the major figures in the world of comedians. Revealed to the general public in the early 2010s thanks to the show We just want to laugh about it on France 2, the 40-year-old artist quickly made an impression with his dark humor and his committed shows. And when the comedian confirmed his success, he immediately thought of sharing it with his parents…

Jérémy Ferrari grand prince: “They had lost everything”

Once his success was established, the comedian, sometimes described as divisive, wanted to spoil his parents… with an exceptional gift! “The first thing I did was buy my parents a house, because they had lost everything“, he confided to France Tv Slash. Coming from a relatively modest family, Jérémy Ferrari saw his parents, local traders, struggling to make ends meet: “I grew up in a working-class neighborhood in the Ardennes and my parents managed to buy a house. The store went bankrupt because Lidl got in the way.”

Their situation was so complicated that they eventually exhausted their options. “And we took everything from them, the store, they had mortgaged the house to try to save the store, it didn’t work and so they lost everything. And at that time, I had nothing so I couldn’t help them. They found work then they found housing but they could no longer buy a house with the banking bans and everything, it was over“, regretted Jérémy Ferrari.

Fortunately, the comedian was able to allow them to take revenge on life thanks to his pills. Having bought them a house remains todaygreatest pride“. But his parents, particularly hardworking, had difficulty putting their ego aside and accepting this gift in its entirety: “At first, they were cute because they didn’t want to not pay rent, so they paid me rent… And at one point I said, ‘Okay, shall we stop the rent now?’ Let me give you your gift“.

Jérémy Ferrari and money: “I earn in one evening what my father earns in a month”

The actor revealed in Laurent Ruquier’s former show does not hide the fact that he earns a good living. But for this eternal anxious, “the fear of not being able to do it anymore and losing everything“remains present.”Every time I have 15,000 euros saved, I say to myself: ‘Okay, I can live for a year’. I count like that, as I am convinced that it will stop“, he confided in the show In Olivier’s eyeson France 2.

Today, the guilt continues to invade him on a daily basis: “ I can repay my debts, pay my rent… Nothing is a problem in my daily life anymore. I earn in one evening what my father earns in a month. And again, when it’s not three or four. And I don’t see that very well.”
