While she will try to repeat her feat from last year at Roland-Garros, the young tennis player Loïs Boisson will be able to count on the encouragement of her clan. Including his brother, who also knows the pressure that exists in high-level sport.
In the Boisson family, we ask… the brother, Anton by his first name. Born in 1999, he is the older brother of Loïs Boisson who made his mark at the Parisian clay court tournament at Roland-Garros last year, by reaching the semi-final.
Loïs Boisson comes from a family of athletes: father, brother…
Loïs Boisson, who has unfortunately had several tournament failures in recent months (from Madrid to Rome, from Parma to Strasbourg), hopes to shine again at Roland-Garros this year. The player, only 23 years old, currently ranked 50th in the world, is therefore eagerly awaited by the Parisian public. “I feel a lot of enthusiasm around me, especially from the public. I was able to see this in Strasbourg. It was the first time, if I’m not mistaken, that I played in France again since Roland last year. These are atmospheres that allow me to raise my level of play even more“, she declared at a press conference.
The Frenchwoman will be able to count on the unfailing support of her sports family in which the young player is an exception. And for good reason, if she chose tennis after a brief trial of basketball, it is in this discipline that her older brother and her father, well known to aficionados of the orange ball, excel. Loïs Boisson is in fact the daughter of the ex-basketball player, coach and manager, Yann Boisson. And his older brother Anton Boisson was also spotted!
Loïs Boisson: her older brother, Anton Boisson, also works in sport
At 1.94 m tall, Anton Boisson very quickly started playing basketball, pushed by a father already recognized by the profession. The young man thus played in the four corners of France – notably in Espoirs at AS Monaco – before flying to the United States. Having since returned to France, he stopped playing basketball to become a sports coach. A private coach, he notably worked for the ultra-select private club Paris Country Club.
According to his social networks, the former basketball player has traveled a lot in recent months, notably passing through Dubai where he was with his sister Loïs, as evidenced by a photo of the duo in the desert on Instagram, in 2025.
In 2025, Loïs Boisson’s brother founded his own digital marketing agency specializing in sport, Skymove Agency. Followed by only 1,300 people on Instagram, he does not yet benefit from the media exposure of his sister. But our little finger tells us that it won’t be long!
