The strong bad weather that hit several areas of Northern Italy last night forced us to postpone the live broadcast of the Rosary for peace promoted by Mary with you. Due to the storm and the total lack of electricity caused by the storm, it was not possible to activate the Facebook connection scheduled for 9pm.
It was communicated Don Antonio Rizzolo, director of Maria con te, with a message addressed to readers and faithful who would have liked to participate in the online community prayer: «We are very sorry and we apologize to all of you who would have liked to connect».
The initiative, launched together with Famiglia Cristiana, was born from the desire to entrust to Virgin Mary the invocation of peace in a time marked by wars, hatred and violence. A moment of reflection and shared spirituality that garnered great attention and participation already in the hours preceding the live broadcast.
The Rosary will therefore be recovered this evening, Friday 29 May, again at 9 pm, to allow everyone to join together in prayer again. «We give you an appointment for tomorrow at the same time», wrote Don Rizzolo, «to join in prayer asking for the intercession of the Virgin Mary for peace, as the Holy Father has repeatedly suggested».
To participate in the live broadcast it will be possible to connect through the official social channels of Maria con te and Famiglia Cristiana at this link. The invitation is aimed at everyone: families, young people, elderly people, single people or parish communities who wish to experience a moment of spiritual communion under the gaze of Mary.
In recent days, presenting the initiative, Don Antonio Rizzolo had recalled how “praying together is the most beautiful way to praise the Lord” and to feel part of a large community of faith capable of bearing witness to hope even in the most difficult moments.
