For those looking for a valid alternative to the World Cup, there is nothing better tonight than The best years of our livesthird chapter of the love story of Jean-Louis (Jean-Louis Trintignant) and Anne (Anouk Aimée) aired on Rai 3 at 9.15pm.
A story that began way back in 1966 with A Man, a Woman which, thanks to the poignant soundtrack by Francis Lai and the skilful direction of Claude Lelouch, watered the handkerchiefs of millions of spectators.
In this third film of 2019, the director has them meet again in the retirement home that welcomes him because his son hopes that, by seeing her again, the situation can at least improve a little. Monica Bellucci also appears as Jean-Louis’ daughter who sings Ti amo by Umberto Tozzi. Presented out of competition at the Venice Film Festival, this film was awaited with many prejudices which instead dissolved towards a free and exciting work
