Jeanfi Janssens is one of those artists whose career started late. He also had a life before the stage and comedy: he was a steward for the French airline Air France. During his career, he has been confronted with many incredible situations that he takes great pleasure in recounting on RTL.
Jeanfi Janssens: the day he had to “take an American girl off the toilet”
Member of Big Headsa cult show presented by Laurent Ruquier, Jeanfi Janssens never misses an opportunity to share his anecdotes with his band of merry men. “Once we had to remove an American woman from the toilet”for example, he said recently. “There are two kinds of toilets: there are recirculating toilets and suction toilets on planes. And as the lady was a little obese, she stuck well all around the bowl. And when she pressed the flush, it sucked, it stayed stuck”he said, triggering hilarity on the set.
Questioned by Laurent Ruquier about the circumstances of this most comical moment, Jeanfi Janssens said: “With a spoon, we had to peel it off, it had to give a little air”. Before adding: “There were several of us doing it, the lady was calling for help. There were three of us, one on each side, to draw air with spoons”. And to conclude: “Afterwards, she came out, she ate again, she was happy”.
The first time Jeanfi Janssens’ mother took a plane: “When I opened the bathroom door…”
And, since the 52-year-old actor has more than one story up his sleeve, he embellished his speech with another wacky story involving his own mother, this time. During her first plane trip, she found herself in a delicate situation: “She was in the toilet when there was severe turbulence, and I was in the cabin, and the captain said to me ‘severe turbulence’. So that means that things are really going to move. And then I said ‘oh my, there’s my mother in the toilet'”.
“And when I opened the bathroom door, there was PQ everywhere…”he portrayed, provoking wild laughter from his comrades. “I opened the toilet door, the only thing she said to me was: ‘It’s not me, it’s not me, I pressed the flush, it made everything move'”he concluded, hilarious.
