Promoted by Famiglia Cristiana, AIDO, Caritas Ambrosiana, Association for the Refettorio Ambrosiano and Cineclub Piacenza, the initiative “One heart and one soul” scheduled for Sunday 24 May at 6pm in Milan, was born with the aim of bringing the public debate back to the center a topic that affects 8,000 families every year: the possibility of transforming pain into hope through donation. “A choice that saves lives” and represents one of the highest forms of human and civil solidarity.
During the meeting, the short film “Briciole al cielo” is screened, dedicated to the story of little Giordano, a child who received a heart transplant in 2024, at the Regina Margherita Hospital in Turin. An intense story, directed by Gian Francesco Tiramani. For the occasion, parents will be present in the room, Annalisa and Arrigo Anzaniwho will tell the public about their journey, which began with fear, crossed by infinite waiting and culminated with rebirth thanks to the gift received. After institutional greetings from Elena Buscemipresident of the Milan City Council, with the following speakers: Carlo Pace Napoleondirector of the Complex Structure of Pediatric Cardiac Surgery and Congenital Heart Diseases of the Regina Margherita Hospital in Turin; Flavia Petrinnational president of AIDO; Marina De Nardoof the Association of Friends of Children with Heart Disease. The meeting is closed by the director of Famiglia Cristiana Don Stefano Stimamiglio.
