Flo Delavega separated from his son’s mother: “We had to sell our house in the woods”
The former member of Fréro Delavega lived for several years in a house lost in the middle of the Landes forest with his partner, the Argentine singer Natalia Docco, and their little boy, before separating from her. In recent years, his life has completely changed. “Two years after your arrival in the Landes, Nat and I decided to no longer live together. Things are going very well between us”he first said in an interview with Parisian. And to specify however: “After we separated, we had to sell our house in the woods”.
Florian Garcia, his real name, flew to the Canary Islands to “find a friend” and resided in Tenerife for some time. There, Flo Delavega devoted himself to his son: “I did two years of being a solo dad with my son. It was incredible for both of us”. But he finally decided to return to his roots, and to get closer to the mother of his son, now eight years old. “I’m moving back this summer to the Arcachon basin, near my parents, near Nat’ (his ex-partner, editor’s note)“released the one who also returns to France to resume his career as a singer.
Flo Delavega, ready to reform Fréro Delavega? “It’s in the pipeline”
Regarding his long absence and his decision to move away from the musical world, the singer is lucid: “I am a bit of a bear of history, I have become a hermit, I have kept few links with the environment, even with those I saw and loved a lot, like Ben Mazué, Laurent Lamarca… I followed their magnificent evolution from afar, but I left the circuit”. Recently, he nevertheless reconnected with his former accomplice, Jérémy Frérot, and is not against the idea of collaborating with him again.
“For the tenth anniversary of the end of Fréro, next year, we talked about having a little fun. A concert with Jerem’, that would be great. It’s not going to happen at the moment, it’s not the right timing, but it’s in the pipeline”conceded to Parisian the one who very quickly felt overwhelmed by the dazzling success of Fréro Delavega. And it’s up to him to move forward: “Reforming the Brothers, I was very closed for a long time but I reopened the doors. All opportunities to enjoy you have to take them, we only have one life”. All you have to do is cross your fingers!
